Neeyat has a charming, old-time trumpet/ accordion jazz ring to it with a period arrangement that seeks to take you back to an old era. It is one of the slower numbers on Sunidhi’s MTV Unplugged set, originally written by Salim-Sulaiman for the soundtrack of the movie Teen Patti. The song, perhaps, is best remembered for its subtle touches of piano improvisations and, of course, Sunidhi’s magical vocals.
